Its wet sump, single cylinder, four stroke engine features two valves and an air-cooled SOHC chain drive design, delivering a piston displacement of 150cc. Additionally, the engine produces a max output of 4.2 kW at 8,500 RPM, along with a max torque of 5.8 N-m at 7,500 RPM.
The bike offers both self start and kick start options, giving riders flexibility and convenience every time they head out. Furthermore, a Capacitor Discharge Ignition system ensures smooth and consistent starts in all conditions. The four-speed constant mesh transmission, paired with a multi disc wet type clutch, provides smooth gear shifts and confident control on the road.
Built on a backbone type chassis with an iron pipe swing arm, the Thunder SS150 offers a sturdy and stable ride. Moreover, alloy rims paired with a 2.25-18, 4 PR front tyre add durability and a solid grip on the road. The bike measures 1897mm in length, 751mm in width, and 1014mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1200mm, giving it a well-balanced and comfortable frame.
